The Woodland Acres I.M.P.A.C.T. Dream Center (Integrated Model for Prevention, Access, and Community Transformation)
This Center will provide financial and employment coaching, homeownership and entrepreneurship supports, a neighborhood health center, and youth programs in technology and trades. Revitalize Arlington, Inc., and the COJ are working together to repurpose two unused public buildings totaling over 6,000 SF to address economic mobility in Arlington’s Woodland Acres neighborhood. Since 2015, Revitalize Arlington has engaged neighbors in assessing community needs and visioning solutions, resulting in the Woodland Acres Integrated Model for Prevention, Access, and Community Transformation (I.M.P.A.C.T.) Dream Center. Renovation is underway and concurrent programming is in operation at the adjacent park, elementary school, and apartment complexes.
Capital Campaign Pledge Card
The Dream Center will target wealth-building supports such as financial coaching, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, and preparation for high-demand careers. The project is reducing blight, creating public art, and connecting neighbors.
